I grew up hearing about my mothers experiences as a child growing up on the base in Los Alamos.  I am very interested in getting more information about my grandfather.  My grandfather's name was Tommy Morris he was not only in the air-force, but he also owned a bar/restaurant on the base.  He flew planes, but he primarily took photos and film.  After my grandmother passed we found boxes of his old photos and film footage.  He had spent some time in Africa and the pictures were of Nazi tank troops.  As silly as this sounds the photos had "Top Secret" stamped on them.  He was stationed in Chicago, then went to Africa, and finally ended up in Los Alamos.

My grandmother was Nola Gertrude Morris and my grandfather called her Gertie.  They had 6 girls whose names are as follows: Marna, Pamela, Sheri, Debbie, Tommie Sue, and Dede.  My grandfather was murdered in the bar/restaurant by his own father when my grandmother was 7 months pregnant with her last child.  I have seen old newspaper clippings and from what I can tell it was quite a sensational story at the time.  I also remember my grandmother showing me an old copy of Stars and Stripes that had an article about my grandfather when he passed.

I would like to know if there is anyone out there that remembers my grandparents or the little girls.
